Etruscans + Rome

The Estruscan civilization is the bridge from Greek colonists in the South and the Roman civilization in the North of the Italic peninsula. In the work that ItaliaDesign does each year in Italy, the work left behind by Etrsucan builders and artisans forms a link to the Bronze Age to present artisanal practice – a span of 3000 years. The Italian people are aware of how what they do fits into a longer concept of time. The Etruscans are the first Italians, their work, the first Italian Design.
