Cinzia Ferrara

Ferrara Palladino is a lighting consultancy studio founded in 1990 by architect Cinzia Ferrara and lighting engineer Pietro Palladino. The studio seeks to promote a ‘lighting culture’ in which their projects recognizes lighting’s impact on human environments and increasing a heightened awareness of lighting amongst people. Ferrara’s works compliment human emotion, aiming to create tranquil and comfortable atmpospheres. Her studio is both a design space and laboratory as they are also dedicated to experimentation with new lighting technologies. Ferrara Palladino studio has collaborated with some of the most recognized professionals of Italy and abroad, including designer Tadao Ando. Some of their most prominent works include the exterior lighting of Milano’s Duomo, interior lighting of the Porta Garibaldi train station and the museum Palazzo Grassi.
